Depart early from Arusha town at around 07.30 - 08.00 Hrs ready to start your 3 days Tanzania safari. You shall across a beautiful and scenic Masai Steppe to Makuyuni junction, where you will turn left along the Arusha - Dodoma Highway towards Tarangire National Park, a drive that will take no more than 2 hours. Arrive at Tarangire's park gate and begin game drives almost immediately after your driver has completed the paperwork in order to see as many animals and birds as possible.

Tarangire is known for two things: large baobabs and the largest herds of jumbos, but there is more to the park than that. The park is home to a variety of migratory big game and small animals (that migrate between here and Manyara), as well as a variety of bird life, including some that are extremely rare and almost exclusively found in this park, such as the Ashy Starlings. Other endangered species include the oryx and the gerenuk. Buffaloes, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, impalas, dikdiks, leopards, gazelles, elands, hartebeests (Kongoni), and other common animals can also be seen in your Tanzania safari tour

Your professional safari guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas in the park, including the Tarangire River, which serves as a bloodline for the park, ensuring that animals flock to the river banks in search of water all year. Elephants, elands, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, gerenuks, giraffes, and numerous birds are expected. Lunch will be served at one of the picnic locations. Later in the afternoon, you will leave the park and be driven to Manyara/Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight. Spend the night in a Budget Tinted Lodge in Manyara/Karatu. We begin the day of your 3 days Tanzania Safari with an early morning game drive before making our way to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro Conservation Area, rather than a National Park, means that the entire area is managed for both the animals and the local Masai people, who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During our drive through Ngorongoro, we get a glimpse of the Masai way of life. After a brief stop at the entrance gate to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, we will drive around the rim of the Crater itself, where we can look down and see a herd of wildebeest or buffalos, before descending into the crater.

The Ngorongoro Crater Area, home to over 120 mammal species, including the fabled Big Five, is one of the world's most sought-after safari destinations. It's a great place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal on the grass plains, as well as large numbers of hippopotamus relaxing in the cool water.

You will spend the entire day on the Crater floor doing game drives in search of animals that can be seen at close range. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you will spot many wildlifes including leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals (silver backed), and if you are lucky enough, you may spot rare species such as the Caracal, leopards, and black Rhinos. Picnic lunch will most likely be served at the Hippo Poolside Picnic site, where you can also use the restroom, before continuing with game drives in the afternoon as you depart the Ngorongoro Crater.

This is the last day of your Tanzania Safari tour.Create a dramatic backdrop we Drive back to Arusha in the late afternoon. Today we will travel to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game viewing. Although this is one of Tanzania's smaller parks, it still provides a rewarding and varied safari experience. Manyara's lakeshore is teeming with birdlife, and while looking for the birds, you might spot one of the elusive tree-climbing lions. There are a surprising number of other large mammals, as well as the stunning cliffs of the Rift Valley.
