DAY 0: ARRIVAL – ARUSHA

Upon arrival at Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport, your guide from Tanzania Burigi Chato Safaris will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi Tanzania. Settle into your accommodation, relax and get used to the African atmosphere. Ready to start your 5 Days Safari in Tanzania to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara (Tanzania BIG 5 Safari) the next day.

Arusha is a city in northern Tanzania and the capital of the Arusha region with 416,442 inhabitants plus 323,198 in the district around Arusha. Located below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern foothills of the Great Rift Valley, Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Parade Route, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro and Arusha National Park on Mount Meru.

DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Early leave Arusha city around 07:30-08:00, drive through a beautiful and scenic Masai steppe to Makuyuni Junction and turn left onto the Arusha-Dodoma highway towards Tarangire National Park, a journey lasting a maximum of 2 hours. Arrive at the park gate in Tarangire and after your driver has completed the paperwork, almost immediately embark on game drives from the gate to see as many animals and birds as possible.

Tarangire is known for both the giant baobab trees and the largest flocks of jumbo jets, but a visit to the park is much more than that. The park is home to a large number of migratory small game and wild animals (which migrate between here and Manyara), but also a large number of birds, including some very rare and almost native to this park, such as Ashy Starlings, for example. Other rare animals are the oryx and the gerenuk. A variety of other common animals that may be seen include buffalo, giraffe, lion, cheetah, impala, dik-dik, leopard, gazelle, eland, red hartebeest, and many others.

Your professional safari guide will take you to the best wildlife viewing areas in the park including the Tarangire River, a permanent river that acts as a lineage for the park and ensures that animals flock to the banks of the river in search of the water throughout year-round. Expect to see elephant, antelope, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, gerenuk, giraffe and lots of birds. Lunch will be taken at one of the picnic areas. Later, leave the park and your guide will drive you to Manyara/Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and an overnight stay. We stay at the accommodation of your choice in Manyara/Karatu.

DAY 2: KARATU/MANYARA – SERENGETI CENTRAL

After breakfast we make our way to the Serengeti National Park, through the beautiful highland farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains stretching out into the distance as far as the eye can see.

We make our way to the central park area known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, with the Seronera River providing a valuable water source for this area, thus attracting wildlife that most species represent the Serengeti. . We arrive in time for lunch and in the afternoon enjoy a game drive in the Serengeti National Park.Your guide will take you to the best game viewing spots. Elephant, buffalo, lion, cheetah, hyena, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, topi, Grant's and Thomson's gazelle and many more can be seen in this magnificent National Park. Especially in the Seronera Valley you can experience fantastic game viewing all year round.

Later in the evening your guide will take you to the Seronera Nyani Public Camp for dinner and overnight in of the central Serengeti.

Here you'll see some of the world's oldest fossil evidence of human habitation, visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum to learn more about the human journey, and enjoy stunning views of this gorge-carved land.

• Maasai Boma Visit: You will visit one of the famous Maasai Boma where you will have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) the traditional Maasai dance, a tour visit an authentic Masai village and even shop for souvenirs at the local market.

Late afternoon arrival in the Serengeti for a night game until evening when you check into a camp/lodge, dinner and overnight. Lunch will be taken at one of the picnic spots, likely at Naabi Hill Gate, where you'll also have the opportunity to stretch your legs while your guide completes the registration and relevant paperwork. Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti. All meals included.

DAY 3: SERENGETI CENTRAL (Full Day Tour)

After breakfast, enjoy a full day safari in the park. There is good game year-round in the Seronera area. Non-migratory animals such as elephant, buffalo, gazelle, zebra, lion, leopard and cheetah can be seen here year round. round. DAY 4: SERENGETI (Morning Game Drive) – NGORONGORO CRATER RIM

Early morning wake up at 6am and after a cup of hot coffee or tea leave the camp for the morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park while enjoying the beautiful morning as the sun rises although it is a bit will be chilly in the morning forget your warm clothes don't forget your warm clothes stay with the safari until noon you will return to the camp for a full breakfast and lunch which means a fork.
Today we have a half day exploring the wildlife around the Serengeti which at this time of year is the ideal place to observe the annual migration of large herds of animals. The endless plains of the Serengeti provide an exceptional backdrop for wildlife viewing; It really is the ultimate safari land. Elephant, hippo, lion, zebra, wildebeest, cheetah, leopard and more wildlife are often sighted in the Serengeti. Then exit the Serengeti towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and embark on a game drive en route to Ngorongoro Camp Dinner and Overnight Viewing

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER – BACK TO ARUSHA

The Ngorongoro area is farmed for both the animals and the local Maasai who graze their livestock alongside the local fauna. During the trip in Ngorongoro we have the opportunity to get a glimpse of the Maasai way of life. After a stop at the entrance gate to the crater where there is an opportunity to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, we drive around the crater rim and from here we can look down and see the herd of wildebeest or buffalo, eventually ascending we descend to the crater, the floor of the world's largest uninterrupted caldera, also known as the Ngorongoro Crater.

Home to more than 120 species of mammals including the legendary Big Five, The Ngorongoro Crater area is one of the most desirable safari destinations in the world. It's a particularly good spot to see the endangered black rhino enjoying a solitary meal on the grassy plains, as well as a spot to see large numbers of hippos enjoying the cool waters.

You'll spend the whole day on game drives on the crater floor in search of animals, which you can see up close from the comfort of your open-top vehicle. You will see plenty of wildlife including leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackal (silverback) and if you are lucky you may see rare species such as caracal, leopard and black rhino. The picnic lunch will most likely be at the Hippo Poolside picnic area where you can also visit a restroom and then continue with afternoon game drives as you exit Ngorongoro Crater. Later on Afternoon, drive to the rim of the crater and exit the park to Arusha
