Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), meet your local guide, and transfer to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha. Attend a detailed briefing and gear check for the Kilimanjaro trek.
Day 2: Start Kilimanjaro Trek – Rainforest Zone
Drive to the Machame or Marangu gate and begin your trek. Walk through lush rainforest rich in birdlife and primates. Arrive at the first camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3–5: Trekking Through Moorland and Alpine Zones
Each day brings new ecosystems and elevation gain. Trek past volcanic ridges, rocky plateaus, and high-altitude deserts while acclimatizing gradually. Enjoy magnificent sunsets and starry skies.
Day 6: Summit Day – Uhuru Peak
Depart before midnight for the final push. Reach Stella Point by sunrise and Uhuru Peak shortly after—Africa's highest point at 5,895 meters. Descend back to base camp for rest and celebration.
Day 7: Final Descent – Transfer to Safari Lodge
Descend through the rainforest and receive your summit certificate. Drive to a safari lodge near Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara and rest for the next day’s wildlife adventure.
Day 8: Safari in Tarangire National Park
Explore Tarangire National Park, home to massive elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse birdlife. Spot giraffes, zebras, lions, and more during game drives. Overnight at a lodge near Ngorongoro.
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater & Lake Manyara – Departure
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s densest wildlife areas. Continue to Lake Manyara for flamingo sightings and tree-climbing lions. Return to Arusha or airport for departure.
