Arrival Day: Kilimanjaro Airport – Transfer to Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari representative and transferred to Arusha, the gateway city to Tanzania’s famous northern safari circuit. During the drive, enjoy views of local villages, coffee plantations, and the beautiful landscapes surrounding Mount Meru. After arriving at your lodge or hotel, you will have time to relax, recover from your journey, and prepare for the exciting safari adventure ahead. Depending on your arrival time, you may also explore parts of Arusha town or enjoy the facilities at your accommodation. In the evening, your safari guide will provide a short briefing about the upcoming 4-Day Tanzania Midrange Big Five Safari to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Full-Day Game Drive
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, a wildlife-rich destination famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Upon entering the park, enjoy a full-day game drive through diverse landscapes dominated by open savannah, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of animals throughout the year. During the safari, you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, warthogs, and several species of antelopes. Tarangire is also a paradise for bird enthusiasts, with hundreds of colorful bird species found across the park. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park while surrounded by breathtaking scenery and wildlife. In the late afternoon, continue with more game viewing before proceeding to your lodge or camp for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Serengeti via Lake Manyara Region – Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Lake Manyara region and the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Along the way, enjoy views of Maasai villages, farmlands, and vast open landscapes that define northern Tanzania. Arrive in Serengeti in the afternoon and begin your first exciting game drive in this world-famous park. Serengeti is home to incredible wildlife including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and gazelles spread across endless plains. Your guide will help track animals while explaining the ecosystem. Later in the evening, enjoy sunset views before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay in the Serengeti wilderness.

Day 3: Serengeti Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Ngorongoro

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
