Best 2 Days- 1 Night Tanzania Safari |From Moshi & Arusha 2026/2027

After eating breakfast, depart from Arusha early in the morning ready to start your 2 Days- 1 Night Tanzania Safari full-day game drive in Taragire National Park. Elephants, elands, wildebeests, buffaloes, zebras, gerenuks, giraffes, and a variety of birds are expected sights. One of the picnic areas will be the location of lunch. You will leave the park by car later that afternoon, and your guide will transport you to Take a left at the Makuyuni intersection along the Arusha-Dodoma Highway towards Tarangire National Park.

The travel there should take no more than two hours. Depart early from Arusha town at roughly 07.30–08.00 Hrs. When you arrive at the Tarangire park's entrance, your driver will take care of the paperwork while you begin your visit.

Tarangire is famous for its giant baobabs and jumbo herds, but there is more to seeing the park than simply those two things. The park is home to many migratory big game and small animals (that go between here and Manyara), as well as a large variety of birds, some of which are extremely uncommon and practically exclusive to this park, like the Ashy Starlings.

The oryx and the gerenuk are two further uncommon creatures. Buffaloes, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, impalas, dikdiks, leopards, gazelles, elands, hartebeests (Kongoni), and many other common creatures can also be seen.

Your knowledgeable safari guide will take you to the park's top animal viewing locations, including the Tarangire River, a permanent Manyara/ Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you can spend the night and have dinner. Spend the night in a cheap lodge in Manyara or Karatu. (Send a particular request for lodging at a lodge.)

Before traveling to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we begin the day with an early-morning wildlife drive. Because Ngorongoro is a Conservation Area rather than a National Park, the entire area is managed for the benefit of the animals and the indigenous Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the native fauna. We get to see a bit of the Masai way of life while driving through Ngorongoro.

Following a brief halt at the entrance gate where visitors have the opportunity to learn more about this unique volcanic terrain, we will drive around the crater's rim from where we can observe a herd of wildebeest or buffalos before descending into it.

The Ngorongoro Crater Area is one of the most sought-after safari locations in the world since it is home to more than 120 species of mammals, including the famous Big Five.

It's a great spot to watch hippopotamuses in great numbers enjoying the cool water as well as the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a solitary meal on the grassy plains.

From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you will spot many wildlife species, including leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals (silver backed), and if you're lucky, you can spot the rare species like the caracal, leopards, and black rhinos. You will spend this entire day at the Crater floor conducting game drives in search of animals that can be spotted at very close range.

Most likely, you'll eat your picnic lunch at the Hippo Poolside Picnic Site, where you may also use the restroom, and then continue your afternoon wildlife drives as you leave the Ngorongoro Crater. Later on in the afternoon, you'll travel up the Crater rim before returning to Arusha town, where the safari comes to a close.
