The roads can become quite dusty, especially during the dry season, so we recommend bringing a soft cloth and a protective bag for your cameras. It is also wise to avoid changing lenses frequently while the vehicle is in motion or when the wind is blowing

We can arrange a guided nature walk along the crater rim with an armed ranger to capture panoramic views that are not accessible by car. This provides an excellent vantage point for wide-angle landscape photography of the entire caldera below. These walks are typically done in the late afternoon or early morning to take advantage of the best atmospheric conditions.
