1 Day Tanzania Safari in July

Starting at 6:00 AM is recommended to arrive at the gate before the main crowds. July is the peak of the tourist season, so getting an early start ensures you spend more time viewing animals and less time in queues. Most guides will pick you up directly from your hotel in Arusha or Karatu to make the journey seamless.

July is the dry season, which means animals are concentrated around the permanent water sources on the crater floor. You are highly likely to see lions, elephants, zebras, and wildebeests in large numbers. The lack of thick vegetation makes spotting predators like cheetahs and hyenas much easier for photographers during this time.
