Today, our journey officially begins at Londorossi Gate (2100 m), the starting point of the Northern Circuit Route. As we drive to the gate from Moshi, keep an eye out for the possibility of spotting majestic wildlife like elephants, giraffes, and buffalos as they occasionally roam near the path. The trail will lead us through the lush rainforest habitat, immersing you in the natural beauty of the region. After a hike of approximately 3-4 hours covering 11 km, we'll arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp (2820 m), where a sumptuous dinner and a good night's sleep await.

Continuing on our adventure, today we transition from the rainforest zone to the low alpine moorland zone as we make our way towards the Shira Plateau. This portion of the hike takes about 5 hours, covering a distance of 8 km. Upon reaching Shira Camp I (3610 m), you'll have the opportunity to admire the stunning landscape and unique vegetation that characterizes this habitat.

Embark on a 5-7 hour hike covering 12 km, as we navigate through the high alpine zone. The hike out of Moir Valley is moderately steep, and you'll have the option to take a detour to summit Little Lent Hill at 4375 meters for even more spectacular panoramas. We'll then follow the Grand Traverse trail, offering picturesque vistas of the northern plains of Kilimanjaro and the Tanzanian-Kenyan border, finally arriving at Pofu Camp (4020 m) for a well-deserved lunch, dinner, and overnight stay.

Today's hike takes us through the alpine zone, where we ascend Buffalo Ridge before heading east along the northern slopes to the Rongai Third Cave at 3800 meters. The shorter duration of Hike today allows you to further acclimatize to the altitude. Arriving at the Third Cave in the mid-afternoon, you'll have plenty of time to rest and soak in the magnificent surroundings.

Prepare for a steady incline up and over the Saddle, which lies between Kibo and Mawenzi Peak. After approximately 4-5 hours of Hike, covering 7 km through the high alpine zone, we'll reach School Hut (4800 m). An early dinner will be served, as you need to rest before the upcoming summit attempt, which begins before midnight.

The most challenging and exhilarating day of the hike is here. We'll start the hike around midnight, ascending the steep slopes of Kibo under the shroud of darkness. Passing by Hans Meyer Cave and reaching Gilman's Point (5681 m) after 5-6 hours of Hike, you'll witness the breathtaking sunrise and the majestic view of Mawenzi Peak. Pushing forward, we aim to reach Uhuru Peak (5895 m), the highest point in Africa, an achievement that will be etched in your memory forever. After enjoying the momentous accomplishment at the summit, we'll continue around the crater rim to Stella Point (5739 m) before descending to Barafu Camp (4680 m). Catch a brief rest here before making our way to Millennium Camp (3950 m) for the final night on the mountain.
