Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you be warmly welcomed by your Africa rise safaris guide who will escort you to your hotel in Moshi, Tanzania. Settle into your accommodation and soak in the African atmosphere, getting ready to commence your 10-day Kilimanjaro expedition the next day.

After a hearty breakfast, your journey begins with a transfer to the Londorossi Gate at 2,250 meters above sea level. After completing the necessary registration, your adventure sets off into the dense rainforest. Accompanied by an armed ranger for safety, you'll trek through the unspoiled natural forest to reach the Big Tree Camp at 2,780 meters. Spend the night in tents at Big Tree Camp.
After a hearty breakfast, your journey begins with a transfer to the Londorossi Gate at 2,250 meters above sea level. After completing the necessary registration, your adventure sets off into the dense rainforest. Accompanied by an armed ranger for safety, you'll trek through the unspoiled natural forest to reach the Big Tree Camp at 2,780 meters. Spend the night in tents at Big Tree Camp.
Leaving the rainforest behind, you'll venture into a savannah of tall grasses, heather, and volcanic rock adorned with lichen beards. Ascend through lush rolling hills and cross streams to reach Shira 1 Camp, offering you the first glimpse of Kibo across the plateau.
