Family Journey North

At approximately 5:30 AM, our guide will collect your family and assist with luggage, seating and any confirmed child seat. You will travel through central Kenya with family-friendly breakfast, refreshment and comfort stops. The private vehicle allows reasonable adjustments for younger travellers.

Northern Wilderness Arrival

Your family will arrive around lunchtime and check into premium family accommodation. After lunch, children and adults will have time to rest. A short evening wildlife drive may be completed when arrival time and the confirmed programme permit.

Special Five Learning Safari

At around 6:00 AM, your family will begin a game drive in search of Grevy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks, Beisa oryx and Somali ostriches. The guide will explain how animals survive in northern Kenya’s dry environment. Elephants and predators may also be encountered.

River Wildlife and Family Rest

After breakfast, lunch and a midday lodge break, you will return for an afternoon safari at around 3:30 PM. The guide may introduce elephant family behaviour, birds and the importance of the Ewaso Nyiro River. You will return for dinner at around 6:30 PM.

Morning Rhino Conservation Safari

At around 6:00 AM, your family will enter Lake Nakuru National Park. The guide will search for rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and waterbirds while explaining conservation in simple language. Flamingo numbers vary according to natural conditions.

Journey to the Maasai Mara

After breakfast and check-out, you will travel toward the Maasai Mara with lunch and comfort stops arranged. Arrival is expected during the late afternoon. Your family will check into the premium lodge or camp and enjoy dinner.

Big Cats and Animal Families

At around 6:00 AM, your family will begin a complete game drive. The guide will search for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and possible cheetahs while explaining prides, herds and camouflage. Wildlife sightings remain natural.

Family Picnic and Afternoon Discovery

At approximately 12:30 PM, you will enjoy a packed lunch and proper rest. Children may review a wildlife checklist or photographs. The afternoon safari continues until around 5:30 PM at a comfortable private pace.

Tracks, Patterns and Habitats

At approximately 6:00 AM, your family will explore another section of the Maasai Mara. The guide will help children recognise tracks, coat patterns, feeding habits and different habitats. Adults can receive more detailed wildlife explanations during the same sightings.

Picnic and Evening Safari

After lunch, the family safari continues through another wildlife area. The private guide can adjust the pace when younger travellers become genuinely tired. You will return for dinner and relaxation.

Final Mara Morning

A short morning wildlife observation may be completed before breakfast when the programme permits. The guide will review important animals learned about during the two complete safari days. You will then return for breakfast and check-out.

Lakeside Family Relaxation

You will travel toward Lake Naivasha and arrive during the afternoon. The lakeside lodge provides time for garden exploration, birdwatching or rest. Children must remain supervised because some properties may have wildlife moving through unfenced grounds

At approximately 7:00 AM, you may enjoy a confirmed boat safari, guided birdwatching session or Crescent Island walk. Children must wear life jackets during boating and follow the guide’s instructions. Possible sightings include fish eagles, giraffes and zebras.

Long Transfer to Amboseli

After breakfast and check-out, your family will begin the long journey toward Amboseli. Lunch, snacks and comfort stops will be included. Arrival is expected during the late afternoon or early evening.

At around 6:00 AM, your family will begin a wildlife drive through Amboseli. The guide will explain elephant family groups, communication and wetland habitats. Mount Kilimanjaro may be visible when weather conditions are clear.

Lunch, Rest and Afternoon Adventure

After breakfast, lunch and a midday break, you will return for an afternoon safari at around 3:30 PM. The programme avoids keeping children in the vehicle throughout the hottest hours. You will return for dinner at approximately 6:00 PM.

Final Family Wildlife Challenge

At around 6:00 AM, your family will enjoy a final game drive and identify animals learned about during the safari. The guide will answer the children’s remaining questions. You will return for breakfast at around 9:00 AM.

After breakfast and check-out, you will begin the journey to Nairobi. A family-friendly meal or comfort stop will be arranged along the route. Final drop-off will be at your confirmed destination.
