Celebrate on a 10-day private Kenya honeymoon through Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli.
Celebrate your honeymoon, anniversary or romantic milestone on our 10-Day Private Kenya Honeymoon Journey from Samburu to Amboseli. You will begin in the remote northern wilderness, where distinctive animals, rocky landscapes and the Ewaso Nyiro River create a peaceful setting for your first safari days together. Lake Nakuru introduces rhinos and greener woodland scenery before our journey continues into the Maasai Mara for two full private wildlife days among lions, cheetahs, elephants and wide golden plains. Lake Naivasha provides a slower lakeside interlude with hippos, fish eagles and an optional private boat experience. Amboseli completes your celebration with elephant families, wetlands, romantic sunsets and possible Mount Kilimanjaro views. Your private vehicle allows you to travel without sharing the timetable with unrelated guests, while luxury lodges may arrange flowers, room decorations, celebration cakes, private dinners and sundowners when requested in advance.
Your private driver-guide will collect you and your partner from Nairobi in the early morning. Our journey will cover approximately 310–340 kilometres and normally take 5½–7 hours, with private refreshment, lunch and photography stops arranged according to your preferences. As you travel north, greener highland scenery gradually changes into rocky hills, dry plains and acacia country. After checking in at your luxury Samburu lodge or camp, you will have time to relax together. A short afternoon safari may be included when arrival time permits, introducing elephants, rare northern wildlife and a beautiful evening landscape.
After breakfast, you will explore approximately 40–90 kilometres of Samburu during seven to nine hours of private wildlife viewing. Possible sightings include reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, gerenuks, oryx, Somali ostriches, elephants, lions and leopards. Because your vehicle is private, you may spend longer at wildlife that interests you and request safe couple photographs at authorised viewpoints. Lunch may be carried as a picnic or enjoyed at the lodge. A private sundowner or romantic dinner may be arranged for the evening when available.
After breakfast and check-out, you may enjoy a short exit drive before travelling approximately 275–300 kilometres to the Lake Nakuru region. The journey normally takes 5½–6½ hours and passes ranchland, highland farms, towns and Rift Valley scenery. Your guide will arrange private meal, comfort and photography stops. On arrival, you will check in at your luxury lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening together. Flowers, a spa appointment or a special dinner may be requested in advance, depending on the property.
Following an early breakfast, you will enjoy a private three-to-four-hour Lake Nakuru safari covering approximately 25–50 kilometres. Possible sightings include rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, baboons and birds. After lunch and check-out, our journey will continue approximately 220–260 kilometres to the Maasai Mara, normally taking five to six hours. You will arrive in the late afternoon or evening, check in and settle into your luxury camp before two complete private safari days.
After breakfast, you will leave with a picnic lunch for approximately seven to nine hours of private wildlife viewing. Your guide may cover around 60–100 kilometres while searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest and hyenas. You can remain longer at sightings you both enjoy and take couple photographs at safe scenic viewpoints. Lunch will be enjoyed at an authorised picnic area before the afternoon safari continues.
Our second full Mara day may explore riverbanks, wooded habitats and quieter plains across approximately 50–90 kilometres over six to nine hours. Possible sightings include hippos, crocodiles, leopards, elephants, birds and predators. You may choose a complete picnic safari or return to the lodge for lunch when location permits. A balloon safari, private dinner, celebration cake or sundowner can be added when booked and confirmed in advance.
After breakfast and check-out, you will travel approximately 230–260 kilometres to Lake Naivasha, normally taking five to six hours. Our private journey passes Maasai communities, rolling hills, rural towns and farmland, with comfort stops arranged around your needs. After arriving at your luxury lakeside lodge, you will have time to rest together. A sunset drink, private dinner or romantic room setup may be available.
When included, your morning may begin with a private or shared boat safari lasting approximately one to one and a half hours. Possible sightings include hippos, fish eagles, pelicans and cormorants. After breakfast and check-out, you will travel approximately 300–340 kilometres toward Amboseli over 5½–7 hours. Meal, photography and comfort stops will be arranged before your late-afternoon or evening arrival.
After breakfast, you will explore approximately 50–90 kilometres of Amboseli during seven to nine hours of private wildlife viewing. Elephant families, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos and birds may be encountered. Mount Kilimanjaro may appear when skies are clear, creating a beautiful background for couple photographs, although visibility cannot be guaranteed. Lunch may be enjoyed as a picnic or at the lodge, and a farewell dinner or sundowner may be arranged for the evening.
After breakfast and check-out, you will travel approximately 215–240 kilometres to Nairobi over four to five hours. Your guide will arrange refreshment and comfort stops according to your onward plans before dropping you at your hotel, private residence or airport.

The Booking Form
Celebrate on a 10-day private Kenya honeymoon through Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli.
N.B: After you send your booking we will get back to you with in 24 hours.
1. Is the safari completely private?
Yes. Your vehicle and guide are reserved for the couple. This allows greater privacy, flexible stops and the freedom to adjust activity length without following unrelated travellers.
2. Can romantic decorations be arranged at every lodge?
Decorations may be requested, but exact arrangements depend on each lodge. Some offer simple complimentary touches, while flowers, private dinners and premium decorations may involve additional charges. Everything should be confirmed before travel.
3. Can the journey be used for an anniversary or proposal?
Yes. Our tour works well for anniversaries, engagements and milestone celebrations. A proposal can be coordinated at a lodge or authorised viewpoint, but it should not depend on a particular animal or mountain view appearing.
4. Can a private dinner be guaranteed?
A private dinner is guaranteed only after the selected lodge confirms it. Outdoor setups may change because of weather, wildlife or safety conditions. A private indoor table may be used as an alternative.
5. Is the Lake Naivasha boat private?
It may be private or shared depending on the final quotation. Couples should request a private boat early if this is important. Weather and water conditions may still affect operation.
6. Can we add a balloon safari?
Yes. A Maasai Mara balloon safari may be added subject to availability, weather and additional cost. The activity requires a very early departure and may affect the normal breakfast schedule.
7. What happens when one partner wants to rest?
One guest may remain safely at the lodge while the other joins an activity when practical. Major changes should be discussed with the guide because park-entry and accommodation arrangements may limit flexibility.
8. Can dietary requirements be handled?
Most luxury lodges can accommodate common dietary needs when informed early. Serious allergies should be explained clearly and reconfirmed at each property. Guests should carry prescribed emergency medication.
9. Can the honeymoon continue to the beach?
Yes. Diani, Mombasa, Watamu or Zanzibar can be added. The most convenient connection depends on flight availability and your international departure airport.
10. How early should we book?
Six to twelve months in advance is recommended when specific lodges, suites or high-season dates matter. Late bookings may require different properties or room categories.
