10 Days Romantic Kenya Honeymoon Safari with Midrange Lodges from Nairobi

Your 10-day Kenya honeymoon safari begins with private pickup from your Nairobi hotel, residence or airport between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. After meeting our guide and discussing your preferred pace and any special honeymoon arrangements, you will begin the approximately 280-to-300-kilometre journey to Masai Mara. The transfer normally takes around 5½ to 6½ hours, passing through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, Narok and the surrounding Maasai countryside. Your honeymoon adventure continues with another complete day in Masai Mara, allowing you to explore sections not covered on the previous day. You may travel approximately 70 to 140 kilometres during 8 to 10 hours of private wildlife viewing. Our guide may focus on predator territories, river corridors and quieter plains where you can enjoy the scenery together without rushing. An optional hot-air balloon safari followed by a bush breakfast may be added at extra cost. You will enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing through the afternoon and returning to your lodge around sunset.

A third full safari day gives you even more time to enjoy Masai Mara at a relaxed honeymoon pace. The day may involve 8 to 10 hours of game viewing and between 70 and 150 kilometres of driving, depending on current wildlife activity. You may see lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes and large plains-game herds while sharing memorable moments in the open savannah. During migration periods, large wildebeest and zebra herds may be present, although exact river crossings cannot be promised.
