The 10-day Northern Circuit route is an extraordinary journey to conquer Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. Marked the beginning of their trek at Londorossi Gate (2,100 meters) in the Rainforest zone. The trail took them through lush rainforests, where they were fortunate enough to catch glimpses of majestic wildlife like elephants and buffalos. After a 3-4 hour trek, they reached Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,820 meters) for a well-deserved dinner and rest.

The journey continued on Day 3, with a 5-6 hour trek from Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira Camp 1 (3,610 meters). They bid farewell to the rainforest as they entered the low alpine moorland zone, ascending onto the Shira Plateau.

Brought them to Shira Camp 2, where they joined trekkers from the Machame Route. However, Trek Hero's 8-day trek was unique, as they continued eastwards through the 'Garden of the Senecios' and into the high alpine desert zone. Eventually, they arrived at Moir Camp (4,200 meters), taking in breathtaking vistas along the way.

The trek on Day 5 was moderately steep, leading them out of Moir Valley. They had the option to trek Little Lent Hill at 4,375 meters before rejoining the Northern Circuit trail. The path offered stunning views of the northern slopes of Kibo, stretching out towards the Kenyan/Tanzanian border. By midday, they reached Buffalo Camp (4,020 meters), where they enjoyed a well-deserved lunch and some rest.

Began with a trek up the Buffalo ridge and onward to Rongai Third Cave (3,800 meters). The trek was shorter, and Trek Hero felt well acclimatized to the altitude by this point. They arrived at the Third Cave in the afternoon, ready to continue their ascent.

They made a steady incline up and over the Saddle, located between Kibo and Mawenzi Peak. The trek led them to School Hut (4,800 meters), where they had an early dinner before getting some rest. The summit attempt was scheduled for midnight, so they needed to be well-prepared with warm clothes, snacks, and their cameras.

The summit day, Day 8, was the most challenging yet exhilarating part of their journey. Starting around 11:30 PM, they ascended the slopes of Kibo in the dark. After passing Hans Meyer Cave and Gilman's Point (5,681 meters), they were rewarded with the stunning sight of the approaching dawn and the breathtaking view of Mawenzi Peak. After another two hours of Trek, they finally reached Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters) at sunrise. The view from the summit was awe-inspiring, surrounded by glaciers and panoramic vistas. After capturing unforgettable moments, they began their descent back to Barafu Camp and further to Millennium Camp (3,950 meters) for a well-deserved rest.

Was the final day of the trek, as they trekked through the montane rainforest from Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate (1,640 meters). At the gate, they signed out with the authorities and received their well-deserved certificates – a green certificate for reaching Gilman's Point and a gold certificate for conquering Uhuru Peak.
