Book a 2-day Amboseli luxury photography safari from Nairobi with private game drives, premium lodging, elephants and Kilimanjaro views.
Capture elephants beneath the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro on this private 2-day Amboseli luxury photography safari from Nairobi. Created for professional photographers, content creators and travellers who simply enjoy taking exceptional wildlife pictures, the package combines private transport, a premium lodge stay and game drives scheduled around productive afternoon and early-morning light. Our guide will position the safari vehicle carefully whenever conditions allow, giving you time to photograph elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions, hippos and birds across Amboseli’s open plains and wetlands. Mount Kilimanjaro views depend on cloud and weather conditions, while wildlife encounters remain completely natural.
Our guide will collect you from your Nairobi hotel, residence or agreed meeting point at approximately 6:30 a.m. After a short safari briefing and careful loading of your camera equipment, you will begin the road journey of approximately 230–250 kilometres to Amboseli National Park. The drive normally takes four and a half to five and a half hours, depending on traffic and road conditions, with a scheduled comfort stop along the way. You will arrive at your luxury lodge or tented camp around lunchtime, complete check-in and enjoy lunch before relaxing. At approximately 3:30 p.m., you will enter the park for an afternoon photography game drive. Our guide will explore open plains, acacia woodland and wetland areas while searching for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and predators. The softer evening light may provide beautiful photography conditions before you return to the lodge at around 6:30 p.m. for dinner and overnight.
You will receive a wake-up call at approximately 5:30 a.m. and enjoy tea or coffee before departing at around 6:00 a.m. for an early photography drive. When the weather is clear, the morning may reveal Mount Kilimanjaro behind the plains, creating one of Amboseli’s most recognised photographic scenes. Our guide will maintain a patient pace and position the vehicle responsibly without disturbing animals or blocking other visitors. You may photograph elephant families, hippos, waterbirds, giraffes and plains game as the light changes. At approximately 9:00 a.m., you will return to the lodge for breakfast, refreshment and check-out by around 10:30 a.m. The journey back to Nairobi includes a lunch or refreshment stop, with arrival expected between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. Drop-off can be arranged at your hotel, residence or airport when the flight schedule allows sufficient connection time.
