Our Amboseli New Year wildlife escape begins on 31 December with collection from Nairobi and a private journey toward the plains beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. After arriving, you will check in at your midrange accommodation and enjoy lunch before entering Amboseli National Park. The final game drive of the year will take you through open savannah and marsh areas in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests and birds. As the afternoon ends, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a New Year’s Eve celebration or countdown arranged
Begin the first morning of the New Year with breakfast and an uplifting wildlife drive through Amboseli. Our guide will search for elephant families moving across the plains, hippos resting in wetlands and predators taking advantage of the cooler morning hours. If the sky is clear, Mount Kilimanjaro may create an unforgettable setting for your first photographs of the year. After a picnic lunch, you will enjoy another game-drive session before departing for Nairobi. Our guide will drop you off in the evening with fresh memories from your New Year safari.
