Your Amboseli Christmas safari begins with a festive morning collection from Nairobi. During the journey, our guide will introduce you to southern Kenya while you leave the busy city behind and approach the open Amboseli landscape. On arrival, you will check in at your midrange lodge, where seasonal decorations or festive activities may be available. After lunch, our safari enters the national park for a Christmas Eve game drive. You will explore the plains and wetlands in search of elephant families, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos and birds. You will spend Christmas morning surrounded by the natural beauty of Amboseli National Park. After an early breakfast, our guide will take you across wildlife-rich plains where elephants may be seen moving between feeding grounds and wetland areas. Mount Kilimanjaro may provide a spectacular festive backdrop when the sky is clear. You will have time for wildlife photographs, quiet observation and a picnic or lodge-prepared Christmas lunch. After a final afternoon game-drive session, our safari will leave Amboseli and return you to Nairobi in the evening.
