Take a 2-day Kenya road safari from Nairobi to Amboseli with private transport, elephant game drives, Kilimanjaro scenery and a midrange stay.
Discover southern Kenya by road on this private 2-day midrange safari from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. Your overland journey reveals changing rural landscapes before reaching the open plains, wetlands and elephant country beneath Mount Kilimanjaro. With our professional guide, you will enjoy comfortable transport, a welcoming midrange lodge and rewarding game drives in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, birds and possible predators.
Our Kenya road safari starts when our guide collects you from your Nairobi hotel, residence or the airport. You will travel southeast along the Nairobi–Mombasa corridor before turning toward the Amboseli ecosystem, passing towns, farmland and broad views of southern Kenya. Safe stops will be arranged for refreshments, washroom use and photographs. After arriving, you will check in at your midrange accommodation and have lunch before entering Amboseli for an afternoon game drive. Our safari will explore open grassland and wetland areas where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, antelopes and numerous birds.
After breakfast, you will depart the midrange lodge for an extended Amboseli wildlife circuit. Our guide will use local knowledge and recent animal movements to explore habitats where elephants feed, hippos gather in the marshes and predators may be seen scanning the plains. When the weather is clear, Mount Kilimanjaro will add a striking backdrop to your safari experience. You may also enjoy panoramic views from Observation Hill when time and physical ability allow. After a picnic lunch and the final game drive, our road safari will leave Amboseli and return to Nairobi in the evening.
