Your journey begins at the Marangu Gate, the starting point of the hike. After registration and a briefing by your experienced guide, venture into the lush rainforest. The first day's hike covers approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles) to the Mandara Hut, nestled at an altitude of 2,700 meters (8,858 feet). Along the way, marvel at the diverse flora and fauna, and savor the sounds and scents of the natural surroundings.

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Marangu Gate
As the sun rises, prepare for the final ascent back to the Marangu Gate.
