Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru – Afternoon Midrange Wildlife Safari

Our 2-day Kenya wildlife safari with midrange accommodation begins with a morning departure from Nairobi in a comfortable private safari vehicle. As you travel toward Lake Nakuru, our guide will share information about the Great Rift Valley, the surrounding landscape and the wildlife you may encounter inside the park. After arriving, you will check in at your selected midrange lodge and enjoy lunch before starting an afternoon game drive. Our safari will explore the lakeshore, woodland and open grazing areas while searching for rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, warthogs and baboons. You will return to your comfortable midrange accommodation in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Full-Day Lake Nakuru Wildlife Safari – Return to Nairobi

After breakfast at your midrange lodge, you will begin a full-day Lake Nakuru wildlife safari with our professional guide. You will explore different sections of the national park, allowing more time to search for rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, possible lions or leopards and abundant birdlife. Depending on wildlife movements, road conditions and available time, our safari may visit the lakeshore and scenic viewpoints overlooking the park. Our guide will explain animal behaviour and conservation while providing enough time for photography. Following lunch and the final wildlife-viewing session, you will leave Lake Nakuru and travel back to Nairobi for drop-off.
