2 Days Lake Nakuru Luxury Wildlife Safari

Your luxury wildlife safari begins at approximately 7:00 a.m. when our guide collects you from your Nairobi hotel, residence or designated meeting point. After a personal briefing, you will drive approximately 160 kilometres to Lake Nakuru, normally taking three and a half to four hours. A short Rift Valley viewpoint stop may be included before you continue to your luxury lodge for check-in and lunch. After relaxing, you will enter Lake Nakuru National Park at around 3:30 p.m. Our guide will explore productive wildlife areas while looking for rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons and numerous birds. You will have time to observe and photograph sightings without an unnecessarily rushed schedule. The game drive concludes at approximately 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

After a wake-up call at approximately 5:45 a.m., you will enjoy tea or coffee and depart for an early morning game drive at around 6:15 a.m. This is a rewarding time to explore the park, as temperatures are cooler and wildlife activity may differ from the previous afternoon. Our guide will check open grassland, acacia woodland, lakeshore sections and elevated viewpoints while interpreting tracks, animal behaviour and conservation work. Wildlife remains free-ranging, so every drive develops according to the encounters of the day. At around 9:00 a.m., you will return to the lodge for breakfast, refreshment and check-out by approximately 10:30 a.m. The journey back to Nairobi includes a lunch stop, with arrival usually between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. Your final drop-off can be arranged at a hotel, residence or airport when the flight schedule provides sufficient time.
