Welcome the year on a 2-day Lake Nakuru New Year safari with private game drives, a festive midrange lodge stay and scenic travel from Nairobi.
Welcome the year with our private 2-day Lake Nakuru midrange New Year safari from Nairobi, combining an afternoon wildlife drive, a festive lodge evening and a memorable New Year’s Day game drive. You will stay at comfortable midrange accommodation and explore the national park with our guide while searching for rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, possible predators and diverse birdlife.
Our Lake Nakuru midrange New Year safari begins on the morning of 31 December with collection from your Nairobi hotel, residence or the airport. You will travel with our guide through the Great Rift Valley and stop for photographs before proceeding to your selected midrange lodge. After checking in and enjoying lunch, our safari enters Lake Nakuru National Park for the final wildlife drive of the year. You will search for rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, baboons and numerous birds as the afternoon light settles over the park. In the evening, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a New Year’s Eve programme or countdown, depending on the arrangements offered by the accommodation.
You will begin the first day of the New Year with breakfast followed by an exciting Lake Nakuru game drive. Our guide will take you through the park’s woodland, grassland and lakeshore habitats while helping you identify wildlife and understand its behaviour. The New Year’s Day safari offers time for photography, quiet appreciation of the landscape and a fresh beginning surrounded by nature. After lunch at your midrange accommodation and a final wildlife-viewing session, our safari will depart Lake Nakuru and travel back to Nairobi for drop-off at your agreed location.
