Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru – Christmas Afternoon Safari

Our guide will collect you from your Nairobi hotel, residence or confirmed meeting point at approximately 7:00 a.m. Following a warm festive welcome, you will begin the 160-kilometre journey through the Great Rift Valley. The drive normally takes three and a half to four hours, excluding scenic or refreshment stops. Upon arrival, you will check into your luxury lodge and enjoy lunch, with festive additions depending on the property’s confirmed programme. After time to rest or exchange gifts, you will enter Lake Nakuru National Park at approximately 3:30 p.m. Our guide will search for rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, primates and colourful birds as the afternoon light softens. You will return around 6:30 p.m. for a Christmas dinner, seasonal entertainment or a quiet private evening according to the selected lodge arrangements.

Day 2: Festive Morning Game Drive – Return to Nairobi

You will wake at approximately 5:45 a.m. and enjoy tea or coffee before beginning your Christmas morning wildlife drive at around 6:15 a.m. The peaceful park atmosphere provides a memorable contrast to a conventional festive holiday. Our guide will explore several habitats while allowing time for photographs, wildlife observation and seasonal family moments. At approximately 9:00 a.m., you will return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast and time to enjoy the property before checking out at around 10:30 a.m. You will then drive to Nairobi with a lunch or refreshment stop on the way. Arrival is expected between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m., followed by drop-off at your hotel, residence or airport when the connection time is appropriate.
