2 Days Luxury Lake Nakuru New Year Safari

Our guide will meet you in Nairobi at approximately 7:00 a.m. and assist with luggage before you begin the journey to Lake Nakuru. The road distance is around 160 kilometres and generally requires three and a half to four hours, depending on traffic and seasonal travel conditions. After an optional Rift Valley viewpoint stop, you will arrive at your luxury lodge for check-in, lunch and relaxation. At approximately 3:30 p.m., you will enter Lake Nakuru National Park for the final afternoon game drive of the year. Our guide will search for rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks and birds as the evening light settles across the landscape. You will return to the lodge at around 6:30 p.m. for dinner and the confirmed New Year’s Eve programme, which may range from a quiet fireside celebration to a hosted countdown.

You will begin the New Year with tea or coffee at approximately 5:45 a.m. before departing on an early wildlife drive at around 6:15 a.m. As daylight spreads across the park, our guide will explore woodland, lakeshore and grassland areas in search of fresh animal activity. The experience offers a peaceful and inspiring way to welcome the year, with time for photographs and personal reflection. You will return to the lodge at approximately 9:00 a.m. for a relaxed New Year breakfast, then freshen up and check out at around 10:30 a.m. The journey back to Nairobi includes a lunch or refreshment stop, with arrival generally between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. Drop-off will be arranged at your hotel, residence or airport when your flight time allows.
