2 Days Luxury Lake Nakuru Student Safari

Students, teachers and group supervisors will meet our safari team at the confirmed Nairobi pickup point at approximately 6:30 a.m. After luggage loading, headcount and a safety briefing, the group will travel around 160 kilometres to Lake Nakuru. During the journey, our guide will introduce the Great Rift Valley and explain how geology, settlements and human activity influence local ecosystems. After arriving at the selected luxury lodge, students will check in, eat lunch and prepare notebooks, binoculars or cameras. The afternoon educational game drive begins at approximately 3:00 p.m. Students will observe habitats and search for rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, primates and birds while discussing adaptation, behaviour and conservation. The group will return around 6:30 p.m. for dinner, reflection and overnight.

The group will wake at approximately 5:45 a.m. and prepare for an early game drive beginning at around 6:15 a.m. Our guide will encourage students to compare morning wildlife activity with observations from the previous afternoon. Depending on the group’s learning focus, discussions may cover rhino conservation, wetland ecology, invasive plants, responsible tourism or wildlife monitoring. After approximately three hours in the park, students will return for breakfast and complete a short question session with the guide. Check-out is planned for approximately 10:30 a.m., followed by the road journey to Nairobi with a lunch stop and comfort break. Arrival is generally between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m., where students will be released to authorised school representatives at the confirmed drop-off location.
