Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara – New Year Afternoon Game Drive

Our safari driver-guide will collect you from your Nairobi hotel, residence or the airport and begin the journey toward the Maasai Mara. You will enjoy views of the Great Rift Valley and Kenya’s rural landscapes before arriving at your luxury lodge or tented camp. After check-in and lunch, you will depart for an afternoon game drive across the reserve. Our guide will search for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs and other wildlife while you enjoy the final colours of the day over the savannah. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and a special New Year atmosphere organised by the accommodation.

The experience offers a memorable and inspiring way to begin a new year. You will return to the lodge for breakfast, complete check-out and start the drive back to Nairobi. Lunch and a suitable comfort stop will be arranged before drop-off at your selected Nairobi location.
