2 Days Midrange Kenya Cultural Safari: Maasai Life and Amboseli

Our Kenya cultural safari begins with a morning departure from Nairobi toward the Amboseli ecosystem. Before entering the national park, you will visit a pre-arranged Maasai community, where local hosts—not outside performers—will lead the cultural experience. You will learn about pastoral livelihoods, family life, traditional and modern housing, beadwork, clothing, storytelling and the importance of cattle within Maasai society. Your hosts may also share songs or demonstrations according to their preferred programme. After the cultural exchange, you will continue to your midrange accommodation for lunch and check-in. Later, our guide will take you into Amboseli for an afternoon drive among elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and other wildlife.

After breakfast at your midrange lodge, you will return to Amboseli National Park for an extended game drive. Our guide will connect the wildlife experience with topics introduced during the community visit, including pastoralism, water access, conservation, tourism and coexistence between people and animals. You will explore wetlands and open plains while searching for elephant families, hippos, antelopes, birds and possible predators. Mount Kilimanjaro may provide a dramatic background when weather conditions are clear. After a picnic lunch and the final wildlife session, our cultural safari will leave Amboseli and return to Nairobi.
