Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru – Romantic Afternoon Honeymoon Safari

Our private Lake Nakuru honeymoon safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence or the airport. You will travel with our guide through the Great Rift Valley, stopping at a scenic viewpoint where you can take photographs together before continuing to the national park. Upon arrival, you will check in at your selected midrange lodge and enjoy lunch in a peaceful environment. During the afternoon, our safari enters Lake Nakuru National Park for your first romantic game drive. You will explore the lakeshore, woodland and open grasslands while looking for rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, antelopes and colourful birds. After sunset, our guide will return you to the lodge, where you can relax and enjoy a quiet evening together.

You will wake up surrounded by the atmosphere of the Kenyan wilderness and enjoy breakfast before beginning a full-day Lake Nakuru honeymoon tour. Our guide will take you through different wildlife habitats, providing time to observe animals, take couple photographs and appreciate the park’s beautiful scenery.
