RELATED FAQS ABOUT 2 Days Premium Amboseli Family Package from Nairobi

    1. Is this safari suitable for young children?

Yes, provided the parents believe the child can manage four to five hours of road travel and remain safely seated during game drives. The private vehicle allows some flexibility around rest breaks and drive duration.

    2. Are child seats available?

Child seats may be requested before booking. Parents should provide the child’s age, approximate weight and required seat type. Availability must be confirmed because safari vehicles do not automatically carry every type of child restraint.

    3. Will our family have a private vehicle?

Yes. This package is planned as a private family safari unless your confirmation states otherwise. The private arrangement makes it easier to manage children, seating, snacks and game-viewing stops.

    4. Are family rooms or connecting rooms available?

Family rooms, adjoining rooms and extra beds depend on the selected lodge and travel dates. Room configuration should be confirmed before payment, especially for larger families or those travelling with small children.

    5. Can we bring snacks and drinks for the children?

Yes. Families may carry suitable snacks and drinking water. Food should never be offered to wildlife, and all packaging must remain inside the vehicle until it can be disposed of properly.

    6. Are toilets available during the game drives?

Toilets are available only at designated facilities. Families should use lodge or gate facilities before beginning a game drive and inform the guide early when a permitted stop may be needed.

    7. Which animals are especially interesting for children?

Elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and colourful birds are often popular with younger travellers. Amboseli’s open landscapes can make some wildlife easier for children to observe.

    8. Can grandparents join the family safari?

Yes. The package can accommodate multigenerational families. Mobility, dietary and medical requirements should be shared before booking so suitable rooms, seating and assistance can be arranged.

    9. Is this an educational safari?

Yes. Our guide can explain animal behaviour, family structure, footprints, feeding habits, wetlands and conservation using language appropriate for the children’s ages and interests.

    10. What should families pack?

Bring comfortable clothing, closed shoes, hats, sunscreen, warm morning layers, medication, child snacks, binoculars and quiet activities for the road journey. Parents should also carry any specialised food or hygiene items required by young children.
