Day 1: Christmas Journey to Amboseli

Festive Nairobi Pickup

At approximately 6:00 AM, our driver-guide will collect you from your confirmed Nairobi location and welcome you to the Christmas safari. Luggage and festive gifts will be secured before departure.

Christmas Road Journey

Between 6:30 AM and 11:15 AM, you will travel about 215 kilometres toward Amboseli with a comfort and refreshment stop. Leaving Nairobi early helps reduce delays associated with holiday traffic.

Festive Lodge Arrival

At around 11:30 AM, you will check into your premium lodge or luxury camp and enjoy lunch. Christmas decorations, music or family activities may be available according to the property’s official festive programme.

Christmas Afternoon Safari

From approximately 3:00 PM to 6:15 PM, our guide will take you into Amboseli National Park for a private wildlife experience. You will search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and birds before returning for a festive dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Christmas-Season Wildlife and Nairobi Return

Holiday Morning Game Drive

At around 6:00 AM, you will begin a peaceful early safari before the park becomes busier. Cooler temperatures may provide opportunities to observe active elephant families and grazing wildlife.

Festive Breakfast and Check-Out

At approximately 9:15 AM, you will return for breakfast and any confirmed holiday lodge activities. You will then collect your belongings and complete check-out.

Christmas Return to Nairobi

From around 10:45 AM, our guide will drive you back to Nairobi with a meal or refreshment stop. Holiday traffic may affect the final arrival time, especially near the city.
