This 2-day Premium Christmas Kenya safari package offers a memorable festive escape from Nairobi to the remarkable landscapes of Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive covers approximately 160–175 kilometres each way and usually takes 3.5–4 hours through the Great Rift Valley. Your Christmas adventure includes private road transportation, premium accommodation, an afternoon game drive and a sunrise wildlife experience before returning to Nairobi. Depending on the selected lodge, guests may also enjoy festive decorations, a seasonal meal or another Christmas arrangement confirmed during booking. Rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos and beautiful Rift Valley scenery create a refreshing way for couples, families and friends to celebrate the holiday together.
Christmas Departure
At approximately 7:00 a.m. in Nairobi, our tour driver will collect you from your hotel, residence or airport. The 160–175-kilometre festive road trip takes around 3.5–4 hours and may include a Great Rift Valley photography stop.
Festive Lodge Welcome
At approximately 11:30 a.m. in the Lake Nakuru area, you will check in at your premium lodge or luxury camp. Lunch is planned for around 12:30 p.m., followed by relaxation and any confirmed Christmas arrangements.
Christmas Wildlife Drive
At approximately 3:00 p.m. inside Lake Nakuru National Park, you will begin an afternoon safari in search of rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and birds. You will return at around 6:00 p.m. for dinner and a peaceful festive evening.
Christmas Sunrise Safari
At approximately 6:00 a.m. inside Lake Nakuru National Park, you will enjoy the fresh morning atmosphere and search for active wildlife. The soft light offers beautiful photography opportunities around the lake, grasslands and acacia woodland.
Festive Breakfast and Check-Out
At around 8:30 a.m. at the lodge, you will have breakfast and time to enjoy the festive surroundings. Check-out takes place at approximately 10:00 a.m., with assistance for your luggage.
Return to Nairobi
At approximately 10:30 a.m. from Lake Nakuru, you will begin the drive back to Nairobi. After an optional lunch stop, drop-off is expected at your hotel, residence or airport between approximately 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
