The journey from Nairobi covers approximately 160–175 kilometres each way and normally requires 3.5–4 hours. Your family will experience an afternoon game drive, a restful night at a premium lodge and an early-morning safari before returning to Nairobi. Family Departure from Nairobi
At approximately 7:00 a.m. in Nairobi, our tour driver will collect your family from its confirmed hotel, residence or airport. The journey covers around 160–175 kilometres and takes approximately 3.5–4 hours. A comfort break and family photography stop can be arranged at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint.
Lunch and Family Relaxation
At approximately 11:30 a.m. in the Lake Nakuru area, your family will check in at the selected premium lodge or luxury camp. Lunch will be served at around 12:30 p.m., followed by time for the children and adults to relax. Our guide will explain simple safari rules before entering the park.
Afternoon Family Game Drive
At approximately 3:00 p.m. inside Lake Nakuru National Park, you will begin a family-friendly wildlife drive. Our guide will use clear and interesting explanations to introduce rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and colourful birds. You will return to the lodge at around 6:00 p.m. for dinner and overnight.
Early Wildlife Discovery
At approximately 6:15 a.m. inside Lake Nakuru National Park, your family will begin its morning game drive. Cooler conditions often make this a productive time to observe active mammals and birds. The route and duration can be adjusted reasonably according to the children’s comfort and park regulations.
Family Breakfast and Check-Out
At around 8:30 a.m. at the lodge, you will have breakfast and time to freshen up. Check-out is expected at approximately 10:00 a.m., with our tour driver assisting with the family’s luggage. Any essential comfort stop should be requested before starting the drive to Nairobi.
Comfortable Nairobi Return
At approximately 10:30 a.m. from Lake Nakuru, you will start the return drive of about 160–175 kilometres. The journey normally takes 3.5–4 hours and can include lunch and comfort breaks. Your family will be dropped off at its Nairobi hotel, residence or airport between approximately 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
