RELATED FAQS ABOUT 2 Days Premium Lake Nakuru Photographic Safari

    1. Is this photographic safari suitable for beginners?

Yes. The experience is suitable for smartphone users, beginners and professional photographers. Our guide will provide enough time to observe the animals and can assist with positioning, lighting and basic photography advice.

    2. Will we have a private safari vehicle?

The package can be operated privately, giving you greater control over photography stops and viewing time. Private travel is particularly useful when carrying several cameras, lenses or other photographic equipment.

    3. Which animals can we photograph?

Possible subjects include black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons and numerous birds. Lions, leopards and hyenas live in the park but cannot be guaranteed.

    4. Are flamingos always present?

Flamingos may be observed, but their numbers change according to water levels, food availability and seasonal conditions. The park remains highly rewarding for wildlife and bird photography throughout the year.

    5. How much driving is involved?

The road transfer takes approximately 3.5–4 hours each way. Inside the park, game-drive duration depends on wildlife activity, road conditions and official park operating hours.

    6. What photography equipment should I bring?

A camera with a telephoto lens is helpful for wildlife, while a wider lens is excellent for landscapes. Bring spare batteries, memory cards, a lens-cleaning cloth, binoculars and a protective camera bag.

    7. Can a beanbag or tripod be used?

A photographic beanbag is usually more practical inside a safari vehicle. A tripod can generally be used only in authorised areas where leaving the vehicle is permitted.

    8. What accommodation will be provided?

You will stay at a carefully selected premium lodge or luxury camp in or near the Lake Nakuru area. The exact property will depend on availability, travel dates and the accommodation option confirmed in your quotation

    9. Can we request a specialist photographic guide?

Yes, a specialist guide may be requested during booking and confirmed subject to availability. Early reservations are recommended, especially during popular travel seasons.

    10. Can the safari be extended?

Yes. You can add Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara, Amboseli or another Kenyan destination. We can design the extension around your photography interests and available travel time.
