Book a 2-day premium Maasai Mara Big Five Kenya safari with private game drives, luxury lodging, lions and iconic savannah wildlife.
Our 2-Day Premium Maasai Mara Big Five Kenya Safari is designed for travellers seeking a concentrated wildlife experience in Kenya’s most famous reserve. Starting from Nairobi, you will travel approximately 260–280 kilometres to the Maasai Mara, with the road journey normally taking five and a half to six and a half hours depending on traffic, route and lodge location. After checking into your premium lodge or luxury tented camp, you will enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive across open grasslands, riverine woodland and rolling plains. The following morning provides another opportunity to search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos, together with cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and birds. Although the reserve supports all members of the Big Five, sightings remain natural and cannot be guaranteed during a two-day itinerary.

N.B: After you send your booking we will get back to you with in 24 hours.
1. What are the Big Five?
The Big Five are the lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros. The term originally came from historical hunting language but is now commonly used in wildlife tourism.
2. Are all Big Five sightings guaranteed?
No. The Maasai Mara supports all five species, but leopards and rhinos can be difficult to locate. Every sighting depends on natural wildlife movement and available time.
3. Which Big Five species are commonly seen?
Lions, elephants and buffaloes may be encountered more regularly than leopards and rhinos. Wildlife distribution changes daily and differs between reserve areas.
4. Is the safari private?
Yes. The premium package uses a private vehicle unless your confirmation states otherwise. This provides greater flexibility and personal attention.
5. Will we see animals besides the Big Five?
Yes. The reserve supports cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, antelopes and many bird species.
6. Can we see the Great Migration?
Migration sightings depend on the season, rainfall and herd movement. A specific river crossing cannot be guaranteed.
7. Is two days enough for the Maasai Mara?
Two days provides an introduction with one afternoon and one morning drive. Travellers seeking more extensive wildlife viewing should consider adding extra nights.
8. What should we bring?
Bring neutral-coloured clothing, closed shoes, a warm morning layer, sun protection, binoculars, cameras and personal medication.
9. Can senior travellers join?
Yes. Guests with mobility, back or medical concerns should share details before booking because the road journey and reserve tracks can be uneven.
10. Can the safari be extended?
Yes. Additional nights in the Maasai Mara or extensions to Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli can be arranged.
