Day 1: Comfortable Nairobi to Amboseli Journey

Assisted Nairobi Pickup

At approximately 7:00 AM, our driver-guide will meet you at your Nairobi accommodation and assist with standard luggage and comfortable seating. The departure time allows guests a less hurried morning while still protecting the afternoon safari programme.

Relaxed Road Transfer

Between 7:15 AM and 12:00 PM, you will travel about 215 kilometres toward Amboseli with a planned comfort and refreshment stop. Our driver will maintain a smooth pace and allow additional short breaks when genuinely required.

Premium Lodge Rest

At around 12:00 PM, you will check into your selected lodge or luxury camp and enjoy lunch. A longer rest period will follow, giving you time to freshen up, take medication and prepare comfortably for the afternoon activity.

Gentle Wildlife Drive

From approximately 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, our guide will explore accessible Amboseli wildlife areas in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and birds. The drive will avoid unnecessary rushing and aggressive movement over uneven roads.

At around 6:30 AM, you will enter Amboseli National Park for a cooler morning game drive. The slightly later start provides additional preparation time while still offering productive wildlife viewing.

Breakfast and Unhurried Check-Out

At approximately 9:30 AM, you will return for breakfast and a relaxed period at the lodge. You can organise medication, personal belongings and luggage before completing check-out at around 11:00 AM.

Assisted Return Transfer

From around 11:00 AM, our guide will drive you back to Nairobi with a scheduled comfort and meal stop. Assistance with unloading luggage will be provided at your confirmed destination.
