Our 2-Day Premium Solo Maasai Mara Safari from Nairobi offers independent travellers a private wildlife journey without requiring them to follow the schedule or interests of a larger group. Your professional driver-guide will collect you from Nairobi and accompany you throughout the approximately 260–280-kilometre road transfer, premium lodge stay and game drives. The journey usually takes five and a half to six and a half hours, depending on traffic, the selected reserve gate and accommodation. After checking into your private room or luxury tent, you will enjoy lunch and personal leisure time before a private afternoon safari. A second drive takes place the following morning before breakfast and the return to Nairobi. Because the vehicle is reserved for you, our guide can focus more strongly on your preferred interests, including lions, predators, photography, birdlife or general wildlife. This package is suitable for independent women and men, solo photographers and business travellers with limited free time.

Day 1: Personal Journey to the Maasai Mara

Private Solo Pickup

At approximately 5:30 AM, our driver-guide will meet you at your Nairobi hotel, residence or confirmed meeting point. After discussing your main wildlife interests, you will begin the private road journey toward the Maasai Mara.

Individual Road Transfer

Between 6:00 AM and 11:30 AM, you will travel through the Great Rift Valley and Narok with a breakfast or comfort stop. Because you are travelling alone, the journey can move at a comfortable pace without waiting for other guests.

Private Room and Game Drive

At around 12:00 PM, you will check into a private room, suite or luxury tent and enjoy lunch. From approximately 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, our guide will personalise the game drive around your interest in predators, elephants, photography or general wildlife.

Sunrise Wildlife Experience

At around 6:00 AM, you will return to the reserve for a cooler morning game drive. The private arrangement allows you to request reasonable extra observation time at the sightings that interest you most.

Breakfast and Private Return

At approximately 9:15 AM, you will return for breakfast and complete check-out. From around 10:30 AM, your driver-guide will take you back to Nairobi with a lunch or refreshment stop before final drop-off.
