You will travel approximately 160–175 kilometres from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru, a journey of around 3.5–4 hours each way through the Great Rift Valley. The itinerary includes private pickup, an afternoon game drive, a premium lodge stay and an early-morning wildlife safari before returning to Nairobi. Your driver-guide handles navigation, park procedures and daily timing, allowing you to relax and concentrate on rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, flamingos and Lake Nakuru’s remarkable scenery. Personal Nairobi Pickup
At approximately 7:00 a.m. in Nairobi, your driver-guide will collect you from the agreed hotel, residence or airport. The private 160–175-kilometre journey takes around 3.5–4 hours and may include a Great Rift Valley photography stop.
Premium Lodge Welcome
At approximately 11:30 a.m. in the Lake Nakuru area, you will check in at your selected premium accommodation. Lunch is planned for around 12:30 p.m., followed by time to relax and discuss your wildlife interests with the guide.
Private Afternoon Safari
At approximately 3:00 p.m. inside Lake Nakuru National Park, your private game drive will explore lakeshore and woodland habitats. You can spend time observing rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and birds before returning to the lodge at around 6:00 p.m.
Personalised Morning Drive
At approximately 6:00 a.m. inside Lake Nakuru National Park, you will begin an early game drive focused on active wildlife and soft morning light. Your guide will adjust the route according to recent sightings and your preferred subjects.
Breakfast and Check-Out
At around 8:30 a.m. at the lodge, you will have breakfast and time to freshen up. Check-out is expected at approximately 10:00 a.m., and your guide will prepare the vehicle for departure.
Private Nairobi Return
At approximately 10:30 a.m. from Lake Nakuru, you will start the 3.5–4-hour return journey. After an optional lunch stop, you will be dropped off at your chosen Nairobi hotel, residence or airport between approximately 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
