We typically pick up guests from their hotels in Arusha or from the airport on the first morning. Since this is a scheduled group departure, it is important to be ready on time to ensure the vehicle stays on track. At the end of the second day, we return the entire group to Arusha for their onward travel.

The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the best places in the world to spot the rare black rhino along with lions and buffaloes. Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds that often cross the road right in front of your vehicle. While leopards can be shy, your professional guide will work hard to locate as many of these iconic animals as possible for the group.

Most of our shared groups stay in budget friendly campsites or mid range tented camps located near the park boundaries. Yes, we can usually arrange a short cultural visit to a Maasai boma on the way to the crater if the whole group agrees. We limit our groups to six or seven people per vehicle to ensure that everyone has a window seat. Each 4x4 Land Cruiser has a pop-up roof that allows for unobstructed views and great photography opportunities. The package includes all meals from lunch on the first day to lunch on the second day. We provide picnic boxes during the game drives so that the group can maximize time spent looking for animals. However, the Ngorongoro Crater offers incredible wildlife viewing throughout the year regardless of the season.
