Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire – Full Day Game Drive – Transfer to Lake Manyara

Depart early in the morning around 6:30 AM for Tarangire National Park, approximately 120 km (~2.5 hours) from Arusha. Embark on a full-day game drive covering 50–60 km across Tarangire’s iconic landscapes, famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests. Birdwatchers can enjoy spotting over 550 species, including raptors and endemic birds. Pause for a scenic picnic lunch near the Tarangire River, with wildlife often grazing nearby. In the late afternoon, transfer 90 km (~2 hours) to Lake Manyara, checking into your luxury lodge with lake or escarpment views. Enjoy dinner and unwind while watching hippos in the distance.
