Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your professional safari guide and transferred ~70 km (~1.5 hours) to Arusha, the safari gateway. Check into your luxury lodge and enjoy the serene views of the surrounding hills. Relax and enjoy a welcome drink, followed by a briefing on your upcoming adventure. Finish the day with a gourmet dinner in a lodge setting, preparing for the early start to the safari.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire – Full Day Game Drive
Depart Arusha early at 6:30 AM for Tarangire National Park, approximately 120 km (~2.5 hours) away. Spend the day on a full-day game drive covering 50–60 km, exploring vast savannahs dotted with ancient baobab trees. July is excellent for spotting elephants (herds of 40–70), lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy sightings of over 500 species, including African fish eagles, hornbills, and lilac-breasted rollers. Midday, pause for a picnic lunch near Tarangire River, observing wildlife congregating to drink. In the afternoon, transfer ~90 km (~2 hours) to Lake Manyara, check into a luxury lodge with views of the Rift Valley, and enjoy a relaxing dinner overlooking the lake.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Full Day Game Drive – Return to Arusha
After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive covering 30–40 km in Lake Manyara National Park. Explore its diverse landscapes, from dense forests to open plains and the soda lake – and spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, hippos, baboons, and thousands of pink flamingos along the lake shore. After a leisurely lunch at your lodge or a scenic picnic, drive ~120 km (~2.5 hours) back to Arusha, passing through traditional Maasai villages and rolling highland hills. Arrive by late afternoon to rest or enjoy a farewell dinner at the lodge.
