    We set off early from Arusha at 6:30 AM, driving through the scenic countryside toward Tarangire National Park. The park’s wide-open savannahs and ancient baobab trees create a stunning backdrop for an unforgettable day of wildlife spotting. June is a fantastic time to visit, and we were amazed by the enormous herds of elephants, lions lounging in the grass, graceful giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos cooling off by the river. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the colorful flocks and calls of over 500 species. Midday, we paused for a picnic lunch by the Tarangire River, watching animals gather to drink, it felt like being part of the wild itself. Later, we continued on to Lake Manyara National Park, arriving at our luxury lodge perched above the lake. As the sun set over the Rift Valley, we relaxed with a beautiful dinner, reflecting on an incredible day surrounded by nature.

    After breakfast, we headed out for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, exploring about 35 km of its beautiful forested slopes, open plains, and sparkling soda lake shoreline. The wildlife here is simply unforgettable, seeing lions lounging in trees, elephants wandering freely, playful baboons, graceful giraffes, and hippos enjoying the water made every moment feel magical. And of course, the thousands of pink flamingos along the lake added a stunning burst of color to the scene. After a relaxed lunch back at the lodge, we drove back to Arusha, taking in the rolling highland hills and glimpses of Maasai villages along the way. By late afternoon, we arrived in town, feeling refreshed and full of memories from an incredible safari. Some of us took the time to unwind, while others enjoyed a farewell dinner, cherishing the last moments of this amazing adventure.
