Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli – Afternoon Photography Game Drive

Nairobi to Amboseli – Afternoon Photography Game Drive

Our professional safari driver-guide will collect you from your Nairobi hotel, private residence or the airport before beginning the scenic drive toward Amboseli National Park. Along the journey, you will watch the busy city surroundings gradually change into open countryside, small settlements and expansive southern Kenya landscapes. After arriving at your luxury lodge or tented camp, you will check in, enjoy lunch and take a short rest before entering the park for your first afternoon photography game drive. You will search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, buffaloes and antelopes while taking advantage of the warm afternoon light. When the weather is clear, Mount Kilimanjaro may appear above the plains, creating a magnificent background for wildlife photography. You will later return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation

Day 2: Full-Day Amboseli Photography Safari

Full-Day Amboseli Photography Safari

After breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a picnic lunch and spend the day exploring Amboseli’s most rewarding photography areas. Our guide will search for large elephant families moving between the dry plains and wetlands, as well as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeest and numerous bird species. You will have time to observe animal behaviour and wait for better photography moments rather than rushing from one sighting to another. The park’s marshes, acacia woodland and open grasslands provide different backgrounds for environmental portraits, action photographs and landscape images. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at an authorised location before you continue with your afternoon exploration. You will return to the luxury lodge in the evening for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Photography Drive – Return to Nairobi

Morning Photography Drive – Return to Nairobi

You will begin your final day with a morning game drive when Amboseli is peaceful and the light is often soft and attractive. This may be one of the best opportunities to photograph Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds gather around the summit. You will also search for elephants leaving the marshes, predators moving across the plains and birds beginning their morning activity. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast, complete check-out and begin the journey back to Nairobi. Our driver-guide will provide lunch or arrange a suitable meal stop along the way before dropping you at your Nairobi hotel, residence or the airport.

Yes. Beginners, smartphone photographers and professional photographers can all enjoy the safari. Our guide will assist with positioning and wildlife observation.

    2. Is a private safari vehicle included?

Yes. The standard package includes a private safari vehicle, giving you greater freedom to use different windows and viewing angles.

. Which camera lens is best for Amboseli?

A telephoto lens between 200 mm and 500 mm is useful for wildlife, while a wide-angle lens is recommended for landscapes and Mount Kilimanjaro views.

    4. Can Mount Kilimanjaro always be seen?

    7. Can photography bean bags be arranged?

A bean bag may be requested before the safari, subject to availability. Guests may also bring their own equipment.

    Is drone photography allowed?

Drone use is highly regulated and generally prohibited without official permits. Do not bring or operate a drone without written authorisation.

    9. Which animals are commonly photographed?

Elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, hippos, lions, hyenas, antelopes and many bird species may be encountered.

    10. Can this trip be arranged for a photography group?

Yes. Multiple vehicles and specialised arrangements can be organised for photography clubs, workshops and content-production teams.
