Our driver-guide will collect you and your partner privately from Nairobi and begin the journey north. The route passes through contrasting scenery, from fertile highlands to the drier landscapes around Isiolo and Samburu. On reaching your selected luxury lodge or tented camp, you will be welcomed, shown to your accommodation and served lunch. After time to rest together, you will begin a private afternoon game drive in search of elephants, Grevy’s zebras, giraffes, antelopes and predators. As the day cools, the soft colours around the Ewaso Ng’iro River create a beautiful setting for photographs and quiet moments together. You will return for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Wildlife route: Adapted to sightings, generally covering 40–70 km during the two excursions
Safari duration: Roughly 3–4 hours in the morning and 3 hours later in the day

Your morning begins with a private game drive while temperatures are comfortable and animal activity is high. You may observe elephants near the river, giraffes walking through the scrub and predators resting after the night. After the drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the middle of the day enjoying your suite, swimming pool or lodge surroundings. Following lunch and relaxation, you will head out again for an afternoon safari tailored to your interests. You may request more time for photography, scenic stops or a peaceful sunset view. Any pre-arranged romantic dinner, cake or room decoration will be coordinated with the lodge.

You will enjoy one final morning drive through the reserve, using the quiet early hours to search for wildlife you may not yet have seen. The peaceful setting allows you and your partner to appreciate the landscape together before returning to the lodge for breakfast. After check-out, our guide will begin the journey back to Nairobi, stopping at a suitable location for lunch or refreshments. Drop-off will be arranged at your preferred Nairobi hotel, residence or airport.
