Our driver-guide will collect you from Nairobi and begin the festive journey toward Samburu National Reserve. You will pass through changing landscapes before reaching the dry and beautiful wilderness of northern Kenya. On arrival, you will check in at your selected luxury lodge or tented camp, enjoy lunch and settle into the festive surroundings. Later, you will begin an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, gerenuks and predators. You may enjoy the warm colours of sunset before returning to the lodge for dinner and any Christmas arrangements organised by the property.

You will celebrate Christmas morning with a private safari through Samburu’s peaceful landscapes. The guide will search for elephants, rare northern animals and predators while temperatures remain cooler. After the drive, you will return for breakfast and time to enjoy the lodge’s festive atmosphere. Lunch and relaxation will be followed by another afternoon safari focusing on wildlife around the river and open bushland. You will later return to the lodge for a festive dinner or other seasonal programme offered by the accommodation.

Your final morning begins with another drive across Samburu before breakfast. You may encounter elephants, birds, giraffes and predators while enjoying the quiet atmosphere of the reserve. After returning to the lodge, you will have breakfast, complete check-out and begin the journey to Nairobi. Lunch and comfort stops will be arranged before final drop-off.
