Celebration attractions: Samburu Special Five, elephants, predators, river life, scenic sunsets and premium lodge hospitality
You will begin the day with a morning game drive across the quieter sections of Samburu. The guide will search for rare northern animals and predators that may still be active after the night. After returning to the lodge for breakfast, you will enjoy lunch and time to relax. The afternoon safari will explore riverine and open bushland areas, where elephants, giraffes and other animals may gather. You will return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing New Year evening surrounded by wilderness.
Sunrise safari route: Approximately 15–25 kilometres
Road distance to Nairobi: Approximately 310–325 kilometres
Overall duration: Around 2 hours of game viewing and 5–6 hours of road travel
