Our guide will collect you in Nairobi and begin the journey through southern Kenya toward Amboseli National Park. During the drive, you will see changing landscapes and receive an introduction to the wildlife, communities and pastoral traditions associated with the region. After arriving at your midrange accommodation, you will check in, have lunch and prepare for the afternoon game drive. Our Kenya cultural and wildlife safari will search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and predators while the guide explains how water, livestock, tourism and conservation shape the wider Amboseli ecosystem. You will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full-Day Amboseli Wildlife and Landscape Safari

Full-Day Amboseli Wildlife and Landscape Safari

You will spend a full day exploring the habitats of Amboseli National Park with our guide. Early hours may provide clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro, although visibility depends on the weather. Our safari will travel through open plains, wetland areas and acacia woodland in search of elephant families, hippos, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes and numerous birds. Your guide will discuss the importance of the wetlands and the long relationship between local pastoral communities and the surrounding environment. You will enjoy a picnic or arranged lunch at an authorized site before continuing with the afternoon game drive. Later, you will return to your midrange accommodation for dinner.

Morning Game Drive, Maasai Cultural Visit and Nairobi

Our guide will take you into Amboseli for a final morning game drive, providing another opportunity to see wildlife beneath Mount Kilimanjaro when conditions are favourable. After breakfast and check-out, our midrange cultural safari continues with a visit hosted by a local Maasai community. You will learn about livestock, traditional home construction, clothing, family responsibilities and how education and tourism influence present-day life. Questions are encouraged, while photography should only take place with permission. After thanking your hosts, you will begin the road journey to Nairobi for drop-off at the agreed location.
