Book a 3-day premium Amboseli photography safari from Nairobi with private game drives, luxury lodging, elephants and Kilimanjaro scenery.
Our 3-Day Premium Amboseli Photography Safari from Nairobi gives photographers enough time to explore the park during different light conditions without following a rushed two-day schedule. Your private journey covers about 215 kilometres from Nairobi to the Amboseli area and normally takes four to five hours depending on traffic, road conditions and comfort stops. After arriving at your premium lodge or luxury tented camp, you will enjoy an afternoon photography drive, followed by a full day of wildlife photography and a final morning safari before returning to Nairobi. Our experienced driver-guide will explore open plains, wetlands, marshes and acacia woodland while searching for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, predators and birds. The private safari vehicle provides flexibility for camera equipment, patient observation and responsible positioning. When the sky is clear, Mount Kilimanjaro may create a dramatic background, although mountain visibility and specific wildlife encounters cannot be guaranteed.

Sunrise Photography Drive
At around 6:00 AM inside Amboseli National Park, you will begin a full-day photography experience while temperatures are cooler and wildlife is often active. Our guide will search for elephant families, predators, giraffes and grazing herbivores, with possible Kilimanjaro views when the morning sky is clear.

The Booking Form
Book a 3-day premium Amboseli photography safari from Nairobi with private game drives, luxury lodging, elephants and Kilimanjaro scenery.
N.B: After you send your booking we will get back to you with in 24 hours.
1. Why is a three-day photography safari better than a two-day package?
Three days provide more game-drive time and allow you to photograph Amboseli during afternoon, full-day and early-morning conditions. This creates more opportunities for changing light, wildlife behaviour and different habitats without making the journey feel rushed.
2. Is the safari suitable for professional photographers?
Yes. The private vehicle provides space for equipment and allows the itinerary to focus on photography. Our guide will consider light direction, background, road access and animal movement while respecting park regulations.
3. Can beginner photographers join?
Yes. The package is suitable for professional cameras, beginner cameras, compact cameras and smartphones. You do not need previous wildlife photography experience to enjoy the safari.
4. Which camera lenses are recommended?
A telephoto lens such as 100β400 mm is useful for wildlife and birds. A wider lens is recommended for landscapes, elephant groups and environmental images featuring Mount Kilimanjaro.
5. Is Mount Kilimanjaro guaranteed to be visible?
No. Visibility depends on cloud cover, weather and atmospheric conditions. Early mornings may provide better opportunities, but the mountain can remain hidden throughout a visit.
6. Will we definitely photograph elephants?
Amboseli is famous for elephant viewing, but the animals move naturally throughout the wider ecosystem. Our guide will search carefully, although the position and behaviour of each herd cannot be guaranteed.
7. Can we carry tripods and beanbags?
Yes. A photography beanbag or monopod is often more practical inside the safari vehicle than a large tripod. Guests carrying specialised equipment should share the details before departure.
8. Does the full-day safari include lunch?
Yes. A packed picnic lunch is normally carried into the park and served at an authorised picnic site. The exact meal plan will be confirmed in your quotation.
What happens during bad weather?
Game drives normally continue when roads remain safe. The guide may change the route if heavy rain affects accessibility or visibility. Cloudy weather can still provide soft photography light.
10. Can the safari be extended?
Yes. The package may continue to Tsavo West, Tsavo East, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara or another destination for additional photography opportunities.
