3 Days Premium Amboseli Scenic Road Expedition

Scenic Departure from Nairobi

At approximately 6:00 AM in Nairobi, our driver-guide will collect you from your hotel, residence or agreed meeting point. After arranging your luggage, you will begin the 215-kilometre journey through southern Kenya, with the road transfer normally taking four to five hours.

Premium Lodge Arrival

At around 11:30 AM in the Amboseli area, you will check into your premium lodge or luxury tented camp and enjoy lunch. The early afternoon provides time to rest, freshen up and prepare cameras and binoculars for the first game drive.

Afternoon Plains Safari

From approximately 3:00 PM to 6:15 PM inside Amboseli National Park, our guide will explore open plains, acacia woodland and wetland areas. You will search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and birds before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Morning Wildlife Search

At around 6:00 AM inside Amboseli National Park, you will begin a full-day game drive during the cooler morning hours. Our guide will explore productive wildlife areas while looking for elephant families, grazing herbivores and possible predators.

Picnic Lunch Break

At approximately 12:30 PM at an authorised picnic site inside Amboseli, you will enjoy a packed lunch and a short rest. The break allows time to discuss the morning sightings before continuing the safari.

Afternoon Ecosystem Drive

From around 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM across Amboseli’s wetlands, plains and woodland, our tour driver will continue searching for wildlife and scenic landscapes. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight relaxation

Final Amboseli Game Drive

At approximately 6:00 AM inside Amboseli National Park, you will enjoy a final morning safari while temperatures are cooler and wildlife may be active. Clear weather may also provide views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Breakfast and Check-Out

At around 9:15 AM at your premium lodge, you will return for breakfast, freshen up and prepare your luggage. Check-out will normally be completed before 10:30 AM.

Scenic Drive Back to Nairobi

From approximately 10:30 AM, our journey will continue about 215 kilometres from Amboseli to Nairobi. A lunch or refreshment stop may be included before drop-off at your confirmed destination in the late afternoon.
