Our 3-Day Premium Amboseli Senior Comfort Safari is planned for mature travellers who prefer a relaxed pace, clear organisation and sufficient rest between activities. The private road journey from Nairobi covers about 215 kilometres and normally takes four to five hours, with scheduled comfort stops arranged according to individual needs. You will stay at a premium lodge or luxury camp selected for service, convenience and relaxation. The itinerary includes a gentle afternoon game drive, a full-day wildlife experience with a picnic break and a final morning safari before returning to Nairobi. Our guide will search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles and birds while avoiding unnecessary rushing over uneven tracks. Assistance with standard luggage, lodge check-in and vehicle entry can be provided. Guests with mobility, back, dietary or medical requirements should share full details before booking so suitable arrangements can be confirmed.

Assisted Nairobi Pickup

At approximately 6:30 AM in Nairobi, our driver-guide will meet you at your accommodation and assist with standard luggage and comfortable seating. You will then begin the private 215-kilometre journey toward Amboseli.

Relaxed Lodge Arrival

At around 11:30 AM in the Amboseli area, you will check into your premium lodge or luxury camp and enjoy lunch. A longer rest period allows time to freshen up, take medication and prepare comfortably.

Gentle Afternoon Game Drive

From approximately 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM inside Amboseli National Park, our guide will explore accessible wildlife areas without rushing over uneven roads. You will search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and birds.

Morning Safari

At around 6:30 AM inside Amboseli National Park, you will begin a gently paced wildlife drive during the cooler hours. The guide will choose suitable routes while searching for elephant families and other wildlife.

Picnic Lunch and Rest

At approximately 12:30 PM at an authorised picnic site, you will enjoy a packed lunch and a proper rest. Guests can stretch within the permitted area and discuss whether the afternoon drive should be shortened.

Relaxed Afternoon Exploration

From around 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM inside Amboseli, the safari will continue through selected habitats at a comfortable pace. You will return to the lodge early enough to relax before dinner

Final Morning Safari

At approximately 6:30 AM inside Amboseli National Park, you will enjoy a final game drive without an unnecessarily early departure. The route will focus on accessible and productive wildlife areas.

Breakfast and Unhurried Check-Out

At around 9:30 AM at your premium lodge, you will return for breakfast and organise medication, personal belongings and luggage. Assistance will be provided during check-out.

Comfortable Nairobi Transfer

From approximately 10:45 AM, our guide will drive you about 215 kilometres back to Nairobi with a scheduled comfort and meal stop. Assistance with unloading will be provided at your destination.

    1. Is the safari suitable for travellers over 65?

    Yes. Age alone does not prevent participation. Guests should consider their health, ability to enter the safari vehicle and comfort with several hours of road travel.

    2. Can the schedule be adjusted?

    Reasonable adjustments may be made around wake-up time, rest periods and game-drive duration. Changes must still respect park hours, lodge policies and the overall programme.

    3. Is assistance available with luggage?

    Yes. The guide and lodge staff can assist with normal travel luggage. Guests should avoid unnecessarily heavy suitcases or equipment requiring specialist lifting.

    4. Are accessible rooms available?

    This was a comfortable three-day safari with beautiful wildlife and thoughtful service. Our guide never rushed us and selected good viewing positions that did not require excessive movement.
