Our 3-Day Premium Amboseli Student Conservation Journey is designed for schools, universities, conservation clubs and organised educational groups seeking practical learning beyond the classroom. Students travel about 215 kilometres from Nairobi to the Amboseli ecosystem, with the road journey normally taking four to five hours. During the transfer and game drives, our guide introduces southern Kenya geography, wetland ecosystems, elephant behaviour, animal adaptation, food chains, human-wildlife relationships and responsible tourism. The programme includes an afternoon field drive, a full day of structured wildlife observation and a final morning safari before returning to Nairobi. Students may observe elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, predators and birds. Accommodation is selected to provide quality meals, secure surroundings and suitable room arrangements. Teachers or authorised leaders remain responsible for general supervision, while our guide manages wildlife interpretation, park safety and field activities.

Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli Field Learning

Student Assembly and Briefing

At approximately 5:45 AM in Nairobi, students will meet at the confirmed school, university, hotel or meeting point. Teachers will complete attendance while our guide explains vehicle rules, the journey and expected educational activities.

Southern Kenya Field Transfer

Between 6:15 AM and 11:00 AM, the group will travel about 215 kilometres toward Amboseli with a supervised comfort stop. Our guide will introduce land use, settlement patterns and changing vegetation along the route.

Afternoon Conservation Drive

At around 11:30 AM, students will arrive at the selected lodge or camp, receive room allocations and enjoy lunch. From approximately 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM inside the park, the group will study wildlife habitats, elephant behaviour and conservation.

Day 2: Full-Day Amboseli Field Study

Morning Ecosystem Observation

At around 6:00 AM inside Amboseli National Park, students will begin a full-day observation drive across wetlands, grasslands and woodland. The guide will encourage careful attention to animal groups, feeding patterns and habitat differences.

Picnic Lunch and Group Review

At approximately 12:30 PM at an authorised picnic site, students will enjoy a packed lunch and discuss the morning observations. Teachers may review species lists, assignments or field notes.

Afternoon Conservation Learning

From around 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM inside Amboseli, the guide will continue explaining food chains, water dependence, animal adaptation and responsible tourism while the group observes wildlife

Day 3: Final Observation and Nairobi Return

Morning Wildlife Session

At approximately 6:15 AM inside Amboseli National Park, students will complete a final field drive focused on animal behaviour and the relationship between wetlands and surrounding dry habitats.

Breakfast and Learning Summary

At around 9:15 AM at the accommodation, the group will return for breakfast and a short summary discussion. Students will then prepare luggage and complete room check-out.

Supervised Return Journey

From approximately 10:30 AM, the group will travel back to Nairobi with a supervised meal or refreshment stop. Final drop-off will be at the original meeting point or another confirmed location.
