Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), a representative will meet you and provide a private transfer to your hotel in Arusha. The drive takes about one hour through small towns and coffee plantations. You will have a briefing about your upcoming 3-day migration safari in Serengeti to ensure everything is ready for your flight the next morning. You can spend the rest of the evening relaxing or exploring Arusha town if time permits. A positive surprise for many travelers is the clear view of Mount Meru or even Mount Kilimanjaro from the city on a clear day.

Day 1: Arusha Fly to Northern Serengeti
The day begins with a transfer to Arusha Airport for your morning flight to the Northern Serengeti. The flight takes approximately 1.5 hours, offering a bird’s-eye view of the volcanic highlands and the vast plains below. After landing at Kogatende Airstrip, your guide will pick you up in a 4x4 safari vehicle for a half-day game drive. You will visit the banks of the Mara River where the migration herds gather. You might witness the dramatic tension as thousands of wildebeest hesitate at the water's edge before making a frantic crossing. A lucky moment often experienced here is seeing a leopard resting on a large granite kopje overlooking the migration herds.

Day 2: Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti
After an early breakfast, you will spend the morning tracking the movement of the Great Migration in the northern region. Later, you will begin your journey toward the Central Serengeti, which is about a 4 to 5-hour drive depending on wildlife sightings along the way. This route takes you through different ecosystems, from the rolling hills of the north to the iconic flat savannah of the center. As you travel, you will follow the path of the herds, seeing endless lines of wildebeest and zebras. A positive and unexpected moment could be coming across a cheetah coalition hunting in the open plains near the Togoro area. You will reach the Seronera Valley by late afternoon for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Central Serengeti to Arusha or Zanzibar
The final day focuses on the "Big Five" during a morning game drive in the Central Serengeti. This area is famous for its high concentration of lions and leopards that live year-round near the Seronera River. You will spend about 3 to 4 hours exploring the river loops and rocky outcrops. It is quite common to see a pride of lions lounging on the road or even a rhino in the distance if luck is on your side. After a bush lunch, your guide will drive you to the Seronera Airstrip for your flight back to Arusha or onward to Zanzibar. A memorable moment often occurs right at the airstrip, where giraffes or zebras sometimes wander onto the runway, causing a brief and exciting delay for the plane.
